Sernio

From the Sernio dam, the route climbs along the firebreak track and, passing through terraces recently planted with olive trees, reaches the Baitei — ancient dry-stone structures once used as storage rooms and cellars, recently restored by the Municipality of Sernio.

From here, the route continues along the Path of the Sun, through gentle ups and downs in the woodland.

The trail then descends alongside the waterfalls of the Saiento stream, leading back down to the valley floor.

The return to the starting point follows the cycle path running alongside the artificial lake of Sernio.
