Just a few days after presenting its third Sustainability Report and its new 2026–2028 Sustainability Strategic Plan, Latteria di Chiuro has received two important recognitions that acknowledge the sustainability journey it has undertaken in recent years.
The first came as part of Welfare Index PMI 2026, Italy's national benchmark dedicated to corporate welfare in small and medium-sized enterprises. During the awards ceremony held in Rome on 1 July, Latteria di Chiuro was named among Italy's 100 Welfare Champion companies, selected from more than 7,400 businesses assessed, receiving the prestigious 5W recognition, awarded to organisations that stand out for the effectiveness and quality of their corporate welfare policies.
This recognition is complemented by a second award from ConsumerLab, the Italian research centre committed to promoting a culture of sustainability. Latteria di Chiuro was awarded the Leader Sustainability Driver label and included among the permanent members of the Campus Future Respect 2026 initiative. The motivation highlighted the cooperative's Sustainability Report for its ability to communicate the company's sustainability journey "with clarity and effectiveness."
What makes these achievements even more meaningful is that both recognitions were awarded without any application or participation in self-assessment questionnaires.
This independent acknowledgement confirms the sustainability journey pursued by Latteria di Chiuro, built on the commitment to people, the supply chain and the local community.
