In 2026, Latteria di Chiuro once again successfully renewed its BRC (Global Standard for Food Safety) and IFS (International Featured Standards) certifications, confirming the high standards achieved in terms of quality, food safety and production process control.
The result achieved for the IFS certification is particularly significant, with a score of 98.99%, up from 98.54% in 2025 and once again placing Latteria di Chiuro at the highest levels of the standard’s Higher Level classification.
The highest possible result was also achieved for the BRC certification: our dairy was awarded an AA grade, the highest rating available for announced audits. In 2025, when the audit was carried out without prior notice, the company achieved an AA+ grade, the highest rating awarded for unannounced audits.
These results confirm the robustness of the processes adopted by Latteria di Chiuro and the daily commitment to ensuring high levels of quality, safety and traceability throughout the entire production process.
BRC and IFS certifications
BRC (Global Standard for Food Safety) is an internationally recognised certification that verifies and certifies compliance with strict standards covering food safety, quality and product legality within the audited company.
IFS (International Featured Standards), on the other hand, verifies that production processes are controlled at every stage, from raw materials to the finished product, with a strong focus on key aspects such as food safety, quality, traceability and transparency towards customers and consumers.
